Purple Petals blew me away, definitely one of the best Otherland scents I've tried, and I'm not typically big on florals. It's a perfectly balanced lilac candle -- originally purchased as a gift, I wound up picking up a second one for myself.

Ruby Root is fresh and clean, definitely enjoyable, but I wish the grassiness and beet/dirt scents came through a bit more. It's a fairly sweet and gingery candle, with the beet grounding the brighter notes slightly.

Loved, loved, LOVED the Purple Petals Candle. Ultraviolet, Purple Petals and Canopy are becoming my top 3 scents for this shop, and I absolutely adore Purple Petals. It is the most beautiful layered lilac scent I have ever experienced. I love this candle.

I’m so glad I discovered Otherland candles store in NYC a few months ago. What’s also great is I can order candles online to my home. The packaging is thoughtful and the candles always smell lovely.

I had to try all three because I’m a loyal Otherland fan, and as usual, I was not disappointed! Extra Hour is super-fresh and I love the shiso, a unique-smelling citrusey aroma. Perfect Petals is a lovely lilac and violet-forward spring floral. Ruby Roots is the standout by a wide margin. The sweet richness of the beets, hints of ginger, earthiness blends with into beautiful concoction that’s neither feminine or masculine, just enticing and thoroughly enjoyable. Otherland has never steered me wrong! If you’re on the fence, give these a shot - you won’t be disappointed!
